I visited The Boathouse today with friends mainly because of their gorgeous deck with stunning views and high recommendations on their food. The manager on duty could not do more to make our experience a special one, although I’m English I myself am visiting from New Zealand so traditional Sunday lunch with my friends here could not have been better. From the view, to the delicious roast dinners we had nothing could be faulted. Well done on creating good food, great vibes and having a manager who clearly loves what she does. I will definitely be back next time I’m visiting this side of the world!

“The beautiful Boathouse!”

My family and I decided to go down to the boathouse and try their Sunday roast,,as soon as we arrived staff were very helpful getting us to the the table that we did reserve.The atmosphere was really nice,food was really delicious and service was great…I highly do recommend this pub. Family Meal

Where do I start, I cannot thank Usha and her team (and Zeus) enough for everything they did for our reception which was held on the top floor. Our day was perfect thanks to you and all the effort you guys put in. Food was exceptional, service was unbelievable. All of our guests said the same thing, devoured the party boards and the canapés. The bar staff were friendly and attentive and credit to you. We have stayed and eaten each time we have visited on the run up to our big day and we are slowly working our way through the menu, fish and chips is delicious. This place will hold special memories for us and we will be visiting you for years to come, I hope you don’t get sick of us! Thank you, thank you, thank. you!!

Our day was perfect

I went in for a drink the other day and was very pleased by the service the boathouse had to provide, I walked in and was immediately greeted by friendly staff saying hi and asking how I was. I sat on the balcony and loved the view, was a perfect spot for the sunny weather. I ordered the vegan burger with fries, which was really nice paired with the dark and stormy cocktail. A great bonus was getting to meet the very friendly pub dog, Zeus. Would definitely recommend this pub!
